BY KNOCKING SC'S DOOR FOR EACH OF HIS FAILURE, CM ATTESTS INEPTNESS OF HIS ADMINISTRATION: JAKHAR

Face2News/Jalandhar/Chandigarh

Criticising the Chief Minister for belittling the Vidhan Sabha by evading discussion on Punjab's water issue, the Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar on Saturday demanded an appolgy from Bhagwant Mann for not only bringing disrepute to the Chair of CM but also disrespecting the August House.

(MOREPIC1) By indulging in war of words over the question of SYL and asking LoP to come to Ludhiana for debate, the Chief Minister, Jakhar said, has lowered the dignity of the House meant for debate and discussion over public isuses.

Taking on the CM for first committing mistakes and then running to the Courts for refuge, Jakhar said the issue of legality of House Proceedings reaching the Apex Court is further denouncement of this inept and incompetence administration.

The bitterness witnessed in the House does not bode well for the state and the August forum must have been utilised for debate over issues concerning the state, Jakhar said here while responding to queries of mediapersons.

Lamnbasting Aam Aadmi Party leadership for jeopardising Punjab's interests for short term political gain, Jakhar said that the CM Bhagwant Mann is more worried of losing votes in Haryana than protecting interests of the state he rules.

(SUBHEAD)First to dilute our rights over our Capital City, Punjab CM demands land for a separate Vidhan Sabha for Punjab, and then in SYL issue his government in SC dilutes Punjab's principled stand, Jakhar pointed out underlining the vicious ploy to undermine Punjab ar every step.

Castigating the state dispensation for lowering Punjab's stand over its own waters, Jakhar said their own MP brazenly admits to ensuring water to Haryana at the cost of Punjab which is intolerable to every Punjabi.

In City for taking part in Bhagwan Valmiki Jayanti Shobha Yatra celebrations, Jakhar said people of Punjab have seen through AAP's gimmicks and no one will ever trust this treacherous lot.

Daring the CM to not run away from the November 1 PAU debate, the veteran leader said he won't let the CM run away now and he would expose the AAP double face over Punjab's rights.

“There is nothing worthwhile i know which would come out of the debate as the CM is using it as another gimmick . The fact that AAP has diluted Punjab's stand over SYL will never be forgotten. Someone needs to call their bluff and that is why I have accepted this challenge,” Jakhar added..

On the 3 member panel for the debate, Jakhar said without* referee the so called debate would turn out to be another slanging match. And what objection does the CM has over these 3 distinguished personalities. All 3 names suggested by me are founders of AAP and their neutrality and concern for Punjab is their identity, Jakhar said.
