St. John’s High School, Sector-26 Chandigarh organized the 10th edition of COALESCE, an Interschool event. Dr. Nemi Chand, State Liaison Officer NSS, Chandigarh was the Chief Guest. A number of schools participated in the events. The event started with a welcome speech and the lighting of the lamp. With high energy levels, the Business quiz, Moot Court and VISITAVITY (where vision meets creativity) followed and the school auditorium was abuzz with activity.
(MOREPIC1) (MOREPIC2) On Day 1 the Business Quiz focussed on knowledge of the latest economic issues, business awareness and the banking sector and on Day 2, the Science Quiz focussed on scientific discoveries and application of modern science. The event was a blend of intellect, quick-thinking and humour.
Visitavity was all about interpretation of the theme, ‘Using Human’s best to do Human’s worst.’ Heads were put together and wonderful creations were crafted by students in the form of posters and caricatures.(SUBHEAD)
The Moot Court competition, Virtute Lustitia (The Power of Justice) saw huge participation as did the Shark tank, where young sharks presented their ideas with immense confidence.
The school Principal, Br. Ryan Fernandes applauded the quiz masters and the staff for putting together such an organised event on such a large scale and also complimented the participants for their talent and enriched knowledge.
