In a major breakthrough team of Crime Branch under the supervision of Inspector Rajiv Kumar arrested one accused Honey @ Hariom on 08.04.2023 and recovered the Activa from his possession with fake number plate. The accused as Honey @ Hariom S/o Sh. Om Parkash R/o # 1443/28, Sector-29B, Chandigarh. Aged 23 years.
On 08.04.2023, when the police party was on routine patrolling duty in the area of Police station Ind. Area, Chandigarh, a secret information was received that one person namely Honey residence of Sector 29, Chandigarh having a stolen grey coloured Activa bearing a fake number No. CH01AU-7553, will come to Peer Majar Sector 29, Chanigarh from Sai Mandir Sector 29, Chandigarh.
Accordingly, a naka was laid by police party near T-point, Earth Parkash Building, Sector 29, Chandigarh and started checking the vehicles, in the meantime one boy came from Sai Mandir side and on seeing the police party he swiftly try to turn back, who was apprehended with the help of police staff. He disclosed his name as Honey @ Hariom S/o Sh. Om Parkash R/o# 1443/28, Sector-29B, Chandigarh. Aged 23 years.
He could not produce any documents of the Activa. On verification of vehicle No. CH01AU-7553, it found in the name of Sh. Amar Dass R/o # 1435/16, Sector 29B, Chandigarh, Honda Twister Motor Cycle which did not match with the said Activa. On further verification its original number was found as CH01AR-0885, Activa, which has been stolen from Panchkula in case FIR No. 499 dated 9.11.2022 u/s 379 IPC PS-7, Panchkula.
The above said case was registered against him and he was arrested in the case. Consequently, a case FIR No. 43 dated 8.4.2023 U/S 471, 473, 411 IPC PS-IA, Chandigarh was registered against him.
PREVIOUS HISTORY OF ACCUSED: Accused Honey has tainted past and had previously been arrested in below mentioned cases: FIR No. 147 dated 26.08.2022 u/s 379, 411 IPC PS-17, Chandigarh, FIR No.149 daetd 10.04.2018 u/s 379, 356, 411 IPC PS-31, Chandigarh., FIR No.126 dated 24.04.2017 u/s 379, 411 IPS PS-39, Chandigarh., FIR no276 dated 03.09.2015 u/s 341, 324, 34 IPC PS-IA Chandigarh.
FIR No.167 dated 21.06.2018 u/s 379, 411 IPC PS-ITP, Chandigarh., FIR No.293 dated 04.07.2018 u/s 379, 356, 411 IPC PS-MM, Chandigarh, today he was produced in the court and sent to judicial custody for 14 days. Investigation is still in progress.
