On 7.4.23 SI Omparkash 1679/CHG alongwith police party while performing the Naka duty at Rally ground near Gas Agency Turn Sec-25.At around 6.15 PM they nabbed two persons namely Sajid (32 yrs) S/o Sh. Mohd. Sahid R/o Jhuggi No. 1047, DainikBhaskar Colony, Sec-25, Chandigarh and Vishal (23 yrs) S/o Sh. Kusham Pal R/o # 3385, DBC Sec-25, Chandigarh from the said naka while they were riding a black colour Splendor M/Cycle affixing fake number plate CH49(T) 1222 on it instead of rear No. CH01-AL-2153.
(SUBHEAD)During interrogation it has come to notice said vehicle was stolen in the area of Dhanas and case e-FIR No. 141 dt. 24.2.23 u/s 379 IPC PS-sarangpur, Chd was already registered in this regard.
Apart from this, during the personal search of the alleged person one Kamanidar knife was also recovered from the pillion rider Vishal. During the investigation, M/cycle in question alongwith fake number plate and Kamanidar Knife were taken into police possession and case FIR No. 58 dt. 7.4.23 u/s 473,411 IPC & 25-54-59 Arms Act. PS-11 has been registered.
Both the accused are also involved in Burglary case in Mullanpur.
