In a major breakthrough team of Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police under the supervision of Insp. Rajiv Kumar arrested one accused Aman S/o Abdul Tashlin R/o House No.1685, KumharMohala, Village- Burial Sector-45, Chandigarh, age-24 year on 07.04.2023 and total 03 vehicles have been recovered from him.
On 07.04.2023, a secret information was received that one person who has stolen Activa from police station sector 34 area, will go to Manimajra from burail to sell the said Activa. Acting upon this information, a naka was laid down at dividing road 45/46, Sector-45 side near Dev Samaj Collage, Chandigarh and the accused Aman was arrested with the stolen Activa No. CH01BK-9477 involved in E-FIR No.244 dated 06.04.2023 U/S 379,411 IPC PS-34, Chandigarh. Apart from this, 02 more motorcycles were recovered on his instance, which was taken into the police possession u/s 102 CrPC.
Accused was produced in the court and sent to judicial custody for 14 days. Investigation is still in progress.
