PUNJAB GOVT. ANNOUNCED HOLIDAY IN FOUR DISTRICTS ON FEB. 3 AND FEB 4

Deputy Commissioner, Kapurthala, in connection with the Prakash Utsav of Shri Guru Ravidas ji, declared holiday in all government/non-government coming under Municipal Corporation/City Council of Kapurthala/Sultanpur Lodhi/Bhulth and school and colleges,  declared holiday on Feb. 3 and on Feb. 4  within the limits of Municipal Corporation Phagwara.

Meanwhile  Holiday announced on February 4 in Jalandhar as well in view of the Nagar Kirtan being organized in connection with the 646th Prakash Utsav of Shri Guru Ravidas Ji.

Jalandhar Deputy Commissioner Jaspreet Singh has declared a holiday on February 4.  According to the issued order, educational institutions will remain closed on February 4.

In the meantime holiday in Hoshiarpur also announced for Feb. 4  for half day in connection with Prakash Utsav of Satguru Ravidas Maharaj Ji. 

Pathankot Deputy Commissioner Harbir Singh has issued an order clarifying that February 3 is declared a holiday in connection with the Prakash Utsav of Shri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji. However, there will be a half-day holiday in government and semi-government educational institutions.
