CRICKET TOURNAMENT INAUGURATED

The Abohar Open Cricket Tournament was inaugurated by the Jakhar Trust chief trustee Jaiveer Jakhar and Municipal Corporation Mayor Vimal Thatai at the Abha Square stadium. Both were warmly welcomed on their arrival.

Trust spokesman Sanjay Jakhar said that the first match took place between Bhagwati XI and Rajasansi XI, in which Bhagwati XI scored 134 in the stipulated 15 overs while playing first. In reply, Rajasansi XI was bundled out for just 89 runs and Bhagwati XI won the match. Shivam Rajora was adjudged the man of the match.

In the second match Jaibhim XI's team won the toss and scored 131 runs while ACA XI team could score only 90 runs. Thewinningteam would get a prize of Rs 51,000, the second team would get Rs 21,000, the third prize is of Rs 11,000 and the fourth prize Rs 5,100. Apart from this, the person who gets the title of Man of the Series will be given a reward of Rs 5100.
