If you cannot feed a hundred people, then feed only one person. This statement of Mother Teresa is 100 percent true even today. This is the belief of Amitabh Rungta, Founder and Sevadar of the Shri Shyam Karuna Foundation. The philanthropic organization holds a Bhandara for the general public every week in Panchkula.

Shri Shyam Karuna Foundation organized the 37th Bhandara today in Panchkula Industrial Area, Phase 2, in which hundreds of needy people and daily wage laborers of the area received free food. Rungta along with his family distributed food at the Bhandara and said that feeding a hungry person is an act of great virtue. He said that apart from fulfilling one's own needs, one should have compassion for other living beings and fellow people in society.

Besides the volunteers, Anupama Rungta, Chaitanya Rungta, Pragati Rungta, Deepali Rungta, Rachna, Kajal, Mohan, and Nidhi also contributed to the work of food distribution at the Bhandara.
