MARTYRDOM DAY OF GURU TEGH BAHADUR Ji ,NAGAR KIRTAN REACHES CHANDIGARH GIVEN WARM WELCOME

The nation is paying traditional homage on the martyrdom day of the revered Sikh Guru, “Hind Ki Chadar” Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, who is remembered for his supreme sacrifice in the defence of faith and humanity.

As part of the ongoing commemorations marking the 350th year of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s martyrdom, a grand Nagar Kirtan that commenced from Delhi reached Sector 47, Chandigarh.

The sangat of Gurdwara Air Force 47/31 extended a warm and heartfelt welcome to the procession. Devotees bowed in reverence to Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, recalling his unparalleled courage in sacrificing his life to protect religious freedom and uplift society.

Addressing the gathering on behalf of the Gurdwara Sahib, Sardar Amarjeet Singh expressed his deep devotion to his faith and the Sikh Gurus. He said it was an honour to welcome the Nagar Kirtan and added that he felt blessed to have been given the opportunity to accord due respect to the sacred procession before it continued on its onward journey.
