The St. John’s All-India/ International Debate ended with as much excitement as it had started with. The highlight of the debate was the fervor and eloquence exhibited by the participating teams. The audience and jury were impressed by the mature and coherent arguments about the Glasgow climate change pact. This debate has set a new benchmark for the following years. The 3-Day mega event concluded with an amazing prize distribution ceremony.
The winners of the grand trophy and an INCREDIBLE cash prize of Rs 1 LAKH were the students from St. Columba's School, New Delhi. The Runners' up prize of Rs. 25000 was bagged by the team from La Martiniere Girls' College, Lucknow, as the prize was forfeited by the team from the host school ( St. John's High School) .
The judges for the final round, Hon'ble Justice Aman Chaudhary, Dr. Sandeep Chhatwal and Mr. Abhaynoor Singh(Global Sales Manager-Tynor Orthotics Pvt. Ltd ) all commended the speakers and lauded the efforts of St. John's to have been able to conduct this debate in a seamless fashion.

The Chief Guest for the closing ceremony, Hon'ble Justice B S Walia( Punjab & Haryana High Court), congratulated the students for exhibiting great talent and also congratulated Mrs. Kavita Das, Principal, St John’s High School for organizing an event that promoted international camaraderie. The event was presided over by Ms. Carol Goyal,daughter of Dr. Sandeep Goyal,the visionary who made this possible. She was a great motivating factor throughout the event.
