CHANDIGARH POSTAL DIVISION, IN COLLABORATION WITH PGIMER ORGANIZES BLOOD DONATION CAMP

Under the “Swasth Naari, Sashakt Pariwar” campaign, the Chandigarh Postal Division, in collaboration with the Department of Transfusion Medicine, PGIMER Chandigarh, organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at GPO Chandigarh on Friday.

The camp was jointly inaugurated by Shri Kumar Sanjeev, Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, and Dr. Anubhav Gupta from the Department of Transfusion Medicine, PGIMER Chandigarh. Shri Kishori Lal, Incharge BPC Chandigarh, and Ms. Monika, Senior Postmaster, GPO Chandigarh, were also present and encouraged volunteers to actively participate in this noble cause.

After proper medical screening, 51 healthy volunteers successfully donated blood, contributing to this humanitarian effort. Blood donor certificates, jointly issued by the PGIMER Blood Bank and the Chandigarh Postal Division, were presented to all participating donors in recognition of their valuable contribution.
