SEMINAR ON ONE NATION ONE ELECTION HELD

A seminar on One Nation One Election (ONOE) was organized on Sunday at Law Bhavan, Sector 37, with enthusiastic participation from students. The program aimed at creating awareness about the idea of simultaneous elections and its benefits for the nation.

The seminar was graced by Sh. Om Prakash Dhankar, Northern Region Incharge of ONOE, Dr. Devansh Chandel, Incharge of ONOE, and Adv. Lekhra Sharma, Member of the Bar Council, as the main speakers.

Other distinguished participants included Sh. Ranjan Lohan, Convenor of Legal Cell BJP, Sh. Ajay Sood, ABVP Leader, Adv. Ajay Sharma, Adv. Geetanjali Wadhwa, and Smt. Geeta Sharma, Former Deputy Advocate General.

The speakers collectively explained the advantages of ONOE, emphasizing its role in reducing the cost of frequent elections, minimizing disruption to governance, ensuring political stability, and strengthening democratic values. They also highlighted how the reform can channelize resources more effectively for national development.

The session concluded with interactive discussions where students actively shared their queries and perspectives. The seminar not only spread awareness but also inspired young minds to engage with vital democratic reforms.
