Police achieved a major success when the police team of Police Station Sector-39, under the directions of Ms. Kanwardeep Kaur, I.P.S W/S.S.P, Ms K.M Pariyanka, I.P.S, W/SP City under the supervision of Sh Anurag Daru, I.P.S, S.D.P.O/South West, & Inspector Ram Dayal SHO/PS Sec-39 arrested accused Harsh @ Thapa & Rahul and worked out the sensational case of Robbery.
The team leaded by SI Kuldeep Singh In-charge PP Palsora resultantly police party busted the gang of Robbers and workout sensational case of robbery, which was registered yesterday vide FIR No 125 dt 25.9.25 U/s 311, 3(5) BNS added 317(2) BNS,
Police said, the complainant Brij Bihari Shah of Himachal Pardesh reported that on 25.9.25, he had come to Chandigarh and hired a Three Wheeler from Railway Station to ISBT Sec 43 Chd. At around 4.55 am, Auto driver along with his companion took the said auto inside the jungle area near petrol pump Sec 54 and driver attacked upon complainant with iron rod and his companion forcibly robbed his bag containing Tab, charger, office ID Card, SBI ATM Card and purse containing cash Rs. 1000/- and other articles.
During investigation, accused Harsh @ Billa S/o Prem Chand R/o # 3693, Sector 56, Chd Age 26 years and Rahul S/o Ram Sanjeewan R/o # 436/1, Sector 56, Chd Age 33 years arrested and above robbed items have been recovered.
Previous Involvement of accused Harsh @ Billa S/o Prem Chand: Involved in 10 casea registered in Mohali and Chandigarh. His mother expired residing at # 3693, Sector 56, Chd Age 26 years, Education Qualification-7th Pass
Accused Rahul S/o Ram Sanjeewan was also involved case registered in Police Station Sector 39, Chandigarh. His mother is a housewife and residing at # 436/1, Sector 56, Chd Age 33 years, Education Qualification-8th Pass.
