ARMY COMMANDER SAPTA SHAKTI COMMAND VISITS HISAR MILITARY STATION

Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command reviewed Operational preparedness of the formations of ‘Dot On Target Division’ during his two days visit to Hisar Military Station on 18 and 19 August 2025.

The Army Commander witnessed the measures and modifications taken by the units to negate the increased threat of Unmanned Aerial Systems and Loitering Munition. He also visited the Division Drone Centre of Excellence and Counter Drone Node and appreciated the efforts and focus of the formation in training the soldiers in the niche and modern-day technologies of drone warfare. He emphasised upon the need to have a robust and effective counter drone strategy based on long range detection and kill capabilities so as to negate any threat to military establishments during both peacetime and war.

Lt Gen Maninder Singh also visited a number of Station Welfare Infrastructure including the Integrated Health Centre, a modern and well catalogued Library, Integrated Open Air Gym and sports facilities and ASHA School for differently abled children. He appreciated the efforts taken by all ranks of the DOT Division for undertaking the projects for creating inclusive welfare and recreational facilities in the Station
