Interacting with students during the Bright Minds Punjab 2026 programme held in Barnala, Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that the primary objective of the programme was to establish direct interaction with students and teachers and discuss the ongoing reforms and transformation in the education system. He expressed confidence that Punjab would scale even greater heights in the field of education in the coming years.
Referring to Barnala district, the Minister announced that a new Government College would soon be established at Dhanaula to strengthen higher education in the region. He noted that Member of Parliament from Sangrur, Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer, had been making consistent efforts to bring the project to fruition.
