Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodhi, former minister and special invitee of the BJP National Executive Committee Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodhi said that ever since Sidhu Moosewala’ killing three years back, gangsters have been choosing their targets, day, time and place of killing those who refuse or ignore their calls for extortion money.
After meeting Sanjay’s elder brother Jagat Verma to share condolences, Sodhi said that Sanjay’s murder was widely condemned by all sections of the society. Punjab Police is capable of eliminating gangsterism there is even no remote political will in the AAP’s government that hosted gangsters.
He said that CM and his ministers to stop playing blame game against the center or BJP ruled states. Law and order are AAP govt’s responsibility. People can’t be swayed by false propaganda. Question is why Sanjay Verma’s killers have not so far been arrested. Big businessmen and industrialists were moving to other states due to uncertainty about their safety.
Sodhi said that due to the wrong policies of the Aam Aadmi Party, people in Punjab are living under the shadow of fear. CM Mann is busy pleasing his political masters who have been rejected by Delhi, none cares for the interests of the people of Punjab.
The former minister said he will write to Home Minister Amit Shah to ask the CBI to take the investigation of Sanjay Verma murder case into its hands.
