TANTIA MEDICAL COLLEGE TEAM WINS SECOND PLACE IN NATIONAL UNDERGRADUATE PHYSIOLOGY QUIZ

The team of Dr. SS Tantia Medical College Hospital and Research Center, Sriganganagar has secured second place in the National Undergraduate Physiology Quiz. The team joined online in the competition organized by Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences, Gajraula, Amroha, Uttar Pradesh.

The team performed brilliantly in all three categories of the quiz. Nine teams of the college participated in the competition. Team 'G' gave accurate answers to the multiple choice questions, audio-visual round and the third round of Applied Aspect of ECG. Dronika, Saniya Kalra, Aman Thind, Suraj Bhan Charan and Aastik Agarwal were in Team 'G' that secured second place by displaying intellectual talent in every field of the competition.

(SUBHEAD)Dr. Seema, HoD, Department of Physiology, said that MBBS first year students of Tantia University participated in the competition. 50 multiple choice questions were asked in the competition and 36 questions were asked in the audio-visual round. Apart from this, an Applied Aspects of ECG round was also organized.

Apart from this, the competition was held between the remaining eight teams of the college in inter-college competitions. Yashika Mittal, Nityam Chauhan, Anirudh Goyal, Amarinder Singh Brar and Armin Singh included in team 'H' came first, Yashika Pandit, Maulik Bansal, Lalit Mittal, Gunika Goyal and Aryaman Shekhawat included in team 'B' came second and Ujjwal, Yuvraj, Bhumika and Madhavi were in team 'D'.
