A state of art, biplane cardiac catheterisation laboratory (CCL), first of its kind in Jaipur City was inaugurated on Thursday at Military Hospital Jaipur by Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, South Western Command.

The project adds MH Jaipur to the list of selected zonal and command hospitals to have acquired this niche state of art facility.

(MOREPIC1)   This facility coupled with a non-invasive laboratory will cater for comprehensive cardiac care to the needs of troops, dependents and veterans in Jaipur as well as the entire area of responsibility of the command, suffering from acute emergencies and chronic cardiac ailments. Every possible intervention including angiography, angioplasty, pacemakers, shock devices, cardiac desynchronization, coronary imaging, shock therapy, electrophysiology studies and structural cardiac interventions can now be performed at MH Jaipur. This CCL will be an asset to the station and help MH Jaipur evolve into a tertiary cardiac care centre with the availability of most cardiac care procedures and facilities under one roof.

Lt General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander’s focus has been to provide quality health care & enhancing wellness of all ranks and families. Sapta Shakti Command has taken a number of initiatives to improve health care facilities. In Dec 2024, an Early Intervention Centre was established providing Paediatrician, Psychiatrist, Physiotherapist, Speech Therapist, Special Educator and Clinical Psychologist which are being optimally utilised.

In the last 12 months, MH Jaipur has conducted 32 outreach programmes including the crucial ‘Cataract Surgery Camp', providing high end doorstep surgery to 250 patients, Cancer Screening Camp, Blood Donation Camp and Counselling Sessions.

To manage large flux of patients, two Integrated Health Centres near Pratap Lines and Tanot Brigade have also been established. Further, to make the stay of NOK/ attendants comfortable, a Patient Transit Facility has also been established for all ranks
