CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES ORGANIZED AS SCHOOLS REOPEN

On the reopening of schools, students were welcomed by the principals and teachers in government schools across the district.In Nukerian village, Principal Hans Raj of Government Senior Secondary School showered flowers on the students. Teachers, joining the celebrations, by applying vermilion (tilak) on the foreheads of the students.

The Principal appealed to the students to study sincerely and motivated teachers to ensure a congenial environment for the students. After this, a program of favorite games and songs and music was organised for the students.

In Govt Senior Secondary School, Mandi Amin Ganj, the children were warmly welcomed by officiating Principal Puran Das and teacher Dharampal. The students presented Giddha and Bhangra folk dances.

Headmistress Jyoti Setia and teacher Sehajpal Singh in Govt High School, Aliana village showered flowers on the children and organized a show match of Kabaddi and Cricket to relieve them of stress.

The Principals in Government Senior Secondary School Jandwala, Government Senior Secondary School Bahmani Wala, Government Senior Secondary School Paka warmly welcomed the students.In some of the schools the students decorated the entrance with Rangoli and participated in quiz, painting and sports competitions that were conducted to involve them in extra mural activities.
