CHANDIGARH SECTOR 35 SHOWROOM BASEMENT TRIGGERS FIRE DUE TO SHORT CIRCUIT

Karam/Chandigarh

 A fire broke out in the basement of a showroom in Sector 35 on Monday morning due to a short circuit. Prompt action by the Fire Department and police helped prevent a major mishap. No casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.

According to information received, the Fire Department and police were alerted around 7:00 a.m. about a fire in the storage area located in the basement of Showroom No. 333 in Sector 35 here. Upon reaching the spot, firefighters found the entire basement filled with dense smoke.

After sustained efforts, the fire was brought under control and the situation was contained before it could spread further. Authorities said the fire was caused by a short circuit. No loss of life was reported, and further assessment of property damage is underway.
