Police reported to have arrested two accused namely Sarvesh @ Kamal @ Panchhi S/O Lt. Sh Mool Chand R/O Village Sadhwa Kher Tehsil Passi PS Makhi Distt Unnao U.P age 24 years and Sagar @ Kancha S/O Lt. Sh Lakshmi Parsad R/O House No 975 C/o Kanwar Home near kheda Village Burail Sector 45 Chandigarh aged 21 years,with in 24 hours of incident in FIR No.125 dated 17.08.2026 U/S 305 BNS added 317(2), 3(5) BNS Police Station sector 34 CHD. The stolen item i.e. Seven Mobie and two stolen Activa i.e. (i) CH01DA2702 and (ii) CH01BN9254 recovered from their possession of accused person.
Neeraj Kumar S/O Janak Shah R/O Vill Kuchai Koth Dist. Gopalganj Bihar. Came present at Police Station and gave a written complaint in which he stated that, he along with five other laborers doing construction work at #1221, Sector 33C, Chandigarh.
On 15/16.08.2026 at midnight when they were sleeping at above house one unknown person stolen his mobile phones make Samsung Khaki colour and Vivo Blue Colour of his friend namely Manager, In this regard case U/S 305 BNS is registered against unknown persson and during the course of investigation accused Sarvesh @ Kamal @ Panchhi S/O Lt. ShMool Chand R/O Village Sadhwa Kher Tehsil Passi PS Makhi Distt Unnao U.P age 24 years and Sagar @ Kancha S/O Lt. Sh Lakshmi Parsad R/O House No 975 C/o Kanwar Home near kheda Village Burail Sector 45 CHD age 21 years arrested and in PS lockup and above stolen mobiles phones recovered from both of accused and sanction 317(2), 3(5) BNS added in FIR.
During further course of investigation, on the disclosure statement of accused Sarvesh @ Kamal @ Panchhi, 05 morewere recovered from Jungle area, near Health Department, Sector-34A Chandigarh and the same were taken into police possession vide seizure memo U/S 106 BNSS. Further on the disclosure statement of accused Sagar @ Kancha, 02 Activa i.e. (i) CH01DA2702 and (ii) CH01BN9254 were recovered from Kachi parking, infront on Laxmi Narayan Mandir, Sector-44 Chandigarh and the same were taken into police possession vide seizure memo U/S 106 BNSS.
The both accused produced before the Magistrate and sent to judicial custody.
