An eye check-up camp was organized in Abohar by Jakhar Trust in collaboration with Shri Jagdamba Eye Hospital, Sriganganagar. Eyes of about 300 patients were examined in the camp, out of which 57 patients were identified for cataract operation. The operations will be done at Shri Jagdamba Eye Hospital
Necessary information related to investigation and treatment was also provided to the patients by the Trust.
On his arrival at the camp site – Ek Jot Sr. Sec School, MLA Sandeep Jakhar was warmly welcomed by the school management. He interacted with patients and doctors. He also asked the patients about their health and wished them well.
The MLA said that eyesight is one of the most precious blessings of human life. It is the responsibility of all of us to provide timely treatment and health facilities to the needy people. He said that Jakhar Trust has been continuously working in the field of health and public service for a long time and till now more than 1800 cataract operations have been performed. The Trust strives to ensure that no person is deprived of treatment due to financial or other reasons. He expressed gratitude to the doctors and the entire medical team of Shri Jagdamba Eye Hospital for their cooperation in this service work. He also praised the members of Team SJ and said that due to their hard work and dedication such service work is being organized successfully

EYE CHECK-UP CAMP ORGANIZED BY JAKHAR TRUST, 300 PATIENTS EXAMINED
