MLA Sandeep Jakhar said at a function organised by councillor Narinder Verma at RSD Girls High School today that felicitation of talented students and their parents inspires them to move ahead in life. They also become a source of inspiration for other children. Therefore, brilliant students should always be encouraged as much as possible.
Councillor Verma organized the function in the memory of his revered mother Bimla Devi. On the occasion, 22 students who scored more than 90 percent marks in 10th and 12th class PSEB exams were felicitated.
Mayor Vimal Thatai said that the students who were honored today will bring glory to their parents in the future. While paying obeisance to Bimla Rani, he said that a mother always wants the well-being of her children, the debt of a mother cannot be repaid in a lifetime. But many people forget mothers. He praised the Verma family for moving forward on the values taught by their mother.
Rohit Verma, CEO of Ravenwood International School said that we are moving forward on the teachings given by our grandmother. He said that education is the weapon with which we can win any war without any bloodshed. Many distinguished citizens were also present.
