FIRE BREAKS OUT AT AYURVEDA PANCHKARMA HOSPITAL IN DERABASSI, PATIENTS SAFELY EVACUATED

A power room suddenly caught fire on Friday evening in Jeena Sikho Lifecare Limited – Ayurveda Panchkarma Hospital located in village Devinagar of Derabassi in mohali district of Punjab.

The fire spread from the bushes in the neighborhood and reached the hospital, causing panic among the patients and staff. However, thanks to the quick action of the hospital managers, all the patients were safely evacuated.

(SUBHEAD) Fire officer derabassi Baljeet singh told that the fire broke out around 5:30 pm and quickly spread to the hospital premises. The hospital administration immediately alerted the fire department and two fire engines from Derabassi Fire Station were dispatched to the scene. The firefighters were able to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading further, but not before it caused significant damage to the hospital's exterior.

According to the hospital management, all the patients were safely evacuated and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but initial reports suggest that it may have been caused by a short circuit. The hospital has assured that all necessary measures will be taken to ensure the safety and well-being of its patients and staff.
