The Jakhar Trust organised a programme on the birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar here in the Nehru Park to honour meritorious students and their parents with 'Baba Sahib Meritorious Award'.
Chief guest, MLA Sandeep Jakhar, said that Dr Ambedkar was not only the architect of the Constitution but also a great thinker, social reformer, economist and advocate of human rights. He dedicated his entire life to the promotion of equality, justice and education in society and always raised his voice against casteism, untouchability and social discrimination.
