In a significant display of solidarity, more than 1500 NCC Cadets, Associate NCC Officers, and Permanent Instructional Staff gathered at the State-Level “YUDH NASHIAN VIRUDH” Rally-cum-March in Ludhiana today. This anti-drug campaign aims to tackle the widespread issue of drug abuse in Punjab by fostering community support and raising awareness among the youth.
Led by the National Cadet Corps (NCC), the march emphasized the importance of collective action in combating the devastating effects of drug addiction. The event focused on engaging the younger generation, encouraging them to make positive contributions to the society by rejecting drugs and promoting healthy lifestyles.
(SUBHEAD) On the occasion, Chief Minister of Punjab, Shri Bhagwant Mann, urged the NCC cadets to continue their fight against drugs and contribute to the vision of a drug-free Punjab. The “YUDH NASHIAN VIRUDH” campaign is an initiative that aims to mobilize young minds to act as change agents in their localities.
Renowned personalities, social organizations, and premier educational institutes participated in the event, which highlighted the NCC's continued commitment to social service and community development projects.
