IN A HEARTWARMING DISPLAY OF SELFLESSNESS, HAV NARESH KUMAR OF 10 MAHAR CONSENTED TO DONATE THE ORGANS OF HIS 18-YEAR-OLD BRAIN-DEAD SON, WHO SUCCUMBED TO INJURIES FROM A ROAD TRAFFIC ACCIDENT ON FEBRUARY 8, 2025.

In a heartwarming display of selflessness, Hav Naresh Kumar of 10 Mahar consented to donate the organs of his 18-year-old brain-dead son, who succumbed to injuries from a road traffic accident on February 8, 2025.

The Team Western Healers, Army transplant team successfully harvested the liver, kidney, pancreas, and cornea, which were then transported to various medical facilities to save the lives of over 6 patients suffering from chronic diseases.

(SUBHEAD)Western Command Hospital Chandimandir (CHWC) led the way in organ donation. Liver & Kidney were transported to the Army Hospital Research and Referral (New Delhi) via a green corridor, facilitated by the Military police and then flown by Indian Air Force.The Other Kidney & Pancreas were donated to a patient of PGI ,who was suffering from a life threatening illness ( Type I Diabetes with CKD ).The Corneas were preserved in Eye Bank of Command Hospital , to give eyesight to the needy.

This remarkable feat is a testament to the exemplary work of the CHWC, which has been consistently retrieving organs and was recently awarded the title of Best Organ Retrieval Centre by the Government of India.

Hav Naresh Kumar's decision to donate his son's organs is a shining example of sacrifice and devotion to humanity. In a poignant tribute, Hav Naresh Kumar has ensured that his son's legacy lives on, making him immortal in the truest sense of the word.
