“THE COALITION'S CORPORATION HAS RUINED THE CITY” — GURBAKSH RAWAT

Face2News/Chandigarh

Gurbaksh Rawat, Congress councillor from Ward No. 27 of Chandigarh and a member of the All India Congress Committee, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the state office, Kamalam. She was welcomed into the party in the presence of BJP state president Jitendra Pal Malhotra, other senior party leaders, and all BJP councillors.

On this occasion, Gurbaksh Rawat stated that she had already decided to join the BJP, being influenced by the policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the party's working style. She further said that during the past year under the tenure of the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) mayor, the development of the city had come to a halt, and apart from false promises, nothing had been delivered. She accused them of ruining the city, causing significant harm to Chandigarh.

(SUBHEAD)The residents of the city are suffering due to their wrong policies and empty promises. Given these circumstances, it has become clear that the city's development is only possible under the BJP. Therefore, she has decided to join the BJP for the betterment of the city and because of her faith in the party's policies.

On this occasion, BJP state president Jitendra Pal Malhotra welcomed Gurbaksh Rawat into the party, stating that the Bharatiya Janata Party functions like a family where every worker is given due respect and recognition, and she will also receive the same.

He further added that due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's policies, India has gained a distinct identity on the global stage. The entire nation looks up to Narendra Modi and the BJP for the country's progress. People concerned about nation-building are joining the BJP, and today, Gurbaksh Rawat has also joined the party. He extended a warm welcome to her.
