The Punjab government has extended the winter vacation for children aged 3 to 6 years until January 7, 2025, due to the winter weather across all Anganwadi centres in the state.

Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur stated that it is very difficult for small children to come to Anganwadi centres due to the extreme cold season.
