During the second day of the ongoing Shaheedi Sabha commemorating the unparalleled martyrdom of the younger Sahibzadas of Sahib-e-Kamal, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Baba Zorawar Singh, Baba Fateh Singh, and Mata Gujri Ji, the Governor of Punjab, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, paid obeisance at Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib.

The Governor of Punjab said that the extraordinary sacrifice of the younger Sahibzadas and Mata Gujri Ji under the guidance of Dasam Pitah Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji is unmatched anywhere in the world. He added that the valor with which Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh, at the tender ages of 9 and 7, respectively, confronted the tyrannical Mughal regime, stood firm in their faith with unwavering courage and determination, and ultimately laid down their lives, sets a unique example. He further stated that the great sacrifice of the younger Sahibzadas would always be remembered.

He emphasized that the Government of India also honors the martyrdom of the younger Sahibzadas and Mata Gujri Ji across the country.

On this occasion, DIG Shri Harcharan Singh Bhullar, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Sona Thind, District Police Chief Dr. Ravjot Garewal, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Geetika Singh, along with other officials, were also present.
