CBM DELEGATION RAISES GST CONCERNS WITH ADDITIONAL COMMISSIONER

A delegation from Chandigarh Beopar Mandal (CBM), consisting of Sh. Sanjeev Chadha President,Sh. Charanjiv Singh Chairman, Sh. Mohit Sood Vice President and Chairman, GST Co-ordination Committee, Sh. Jaspal Singh Executive Member called on Sh. Gaurav Kumar Jain, IRS, Additional Commissioner, Central GST, Chandigarh to discuss key issues affecting taxpayers.

The delegation highlighted four key issues:-

Denial of GST input due to supplier non-existence and notices U/s 74..  Extension of time limit for export of goods from 90 days to 180 days.  Reduction of GST on payment of rent from 18% to 5% for commercial properties by Composite Dealers,  Early Operationalization of GST Appellate Tribunal in Chandigarh The officer assured to consider these issues on priority and forward it to the CBIT New Delhi with positive note simplify GST procedures, said Diwakar Sahoonja, Vice Chairman cum Official Spokesperson, CBM
