CHANDIGARH REGISTERED ONE WICKET THRILLING WIN OVER ODISHA

UT boys ended their Cooch Behar trophy campaign by registering a thrilling one wicket win over hosts Odisha in the last league match of the tournament held at Sundargarh.

On the last day of the match, Chandigarh needed 105 runs with nine wickets remaining but Priyanshu Mohanty (7/74) put the visitors on patient mode by clinching the seven wickets. In reply to Odisha's first innings score of 257, Chandigarh was all out for 215 runs.

Later, Odisha was all out for 132 runs in the second innings which posed a target of 174. On the last day of the match, Chandigarh struggled with 118/7 but unbeaten Markandey Panchal scored 59 runs in 27 balls with the help of six sixes and one four to steer Chandigarh to a one wicket win.
