Silver City Themes Resident's Welfare Association inaugural Tournament first ever in history of Derabassi, Cricket Tournament SCT Premier league Final held on Sunday, which was started with Cricket Marathon.
All the Players across the Society followed by closing ceremony with live performance by the Children of Silver City hosted by Cultural Committee Member Mrs. Aruna Malhotra & Mrs. Sakshi Bhargava followed by a special mention to the Tournament Sponsors Lions Club, Aggarwal Sweets, Abhifit Fitness Gym, Uderm Skin Care, Automotive Solutions, Mrs. Lucy Burgess, Mr. Virender Sekhri.
President Mr. Parveen Kumar Suri, Gen Secretary Mrs. Rajvir Kaur Walia, Vice President Mr. Rakesh Mittal, Jt. Treasurer Mr. Naresh Kumar Sood, Board Director Mrs Vasumati Sharma and some highly respected Residents of Society Mr. Virender Sekhri, Col Parasram, Mr. Gagandeep Singh, Mr. Sulesh Goswami and Tournament Organizer Gagan Taneja praised the players.
Gagan Taneja also acknowledged the hard work behind the success of the Tournament by organizers Team of Mr. Ajay Sharma, Board Director Mr. Nitin Gavri and Mr. Vishesh Gagneja.
Captain of SCT Hunters Mr. Ajay Sharma and their opponent Mr. Ankur Rajput of SCT Mavericks explained their strategy for the game during the pre-match conference.
The Grand Final match ended with a victory of SCT Hunters by 43 Runs against Mavericks in a thrilling contest and with that SCT Hunters are crowned the Champions of SCT Premier League 2024
(SUBHEAD)Mr. Ahmed Abdul Wazey was announced Man of the Match and also Man of the Series for his outstanding performance throughout the Tournament and got duly awarded with a Cash Price, Winners Bat and Medals by the Match Umpire Mr. Naresh Kumar Sood and Board Director Mrs. Vasumati Sharma.
Bronze Medals and Cash Prize were awarded to 2nd Runner Up SCT Rangers Captain Mr. Mohit Dhiman and his Team Players.
Silver Medals, Cash Prize and 1st Runner Up Shield was awarded to SCT Mavericks Captain Mr. Ankur Rajput by Board Director Mrs Vasumati Sharma and society respected Resident Mr. Bhupesh Tandon.
A Certificate of Appreciation were awarded to the Premier League event Organizer Mr. Gagan Taneja by RWA President Mr. Parveen Kumar Suri.
