UT GIRLS SECURED SECOND CONSECUTIVE WIN IN T20 TOURNAMENT, THRASH NAGALAND BY SIX WICKETS

UT girls defeated Nagaland in the second fixture of the Women's Under 19 T20 played by six wickets at Sultanpur. This is Chandigarh’s second consecutive win in the tournament. Nagaland won the toss and elected to bat first. Team posted 72/8 runs in the stipulated twenty overs.

Rakhi took four wickets in her four over spell and dominated the scene. Taisha Manchanda took two wickets. Skipper Namjeen Khatun scored the highest 19 runs. In reply, UT girls achieved the given target in the 14th over at the loss of four wickets. Captain Gulnaz scored 30 while Ganika Bansal added 23 runs.

CHANDIGARH'S NIKHIL BECAME PLAYER OF THE MATCH IN INDIA AND AUSTRALIA U 19 TEST MATCH  

 UT's Nikhil Kumar secured the win for India against Australia under 19 test match played at Chennai on Wednesday. Host defeated the visiting team by two wickets in a thrilling end. After winning the toss, Australia batted first and scored 293 runs.

In reply, India scored 296 runs wherein Nikhil contributed 20 runs. Australia scored 214 runs in the second innings and gave a target of 218. In reply, India, once struggling at 113/5 was rescued by Nikhil Kumar's unbeaten innings of 55 runs and brought the team home. Nikhil was awarded the Player of the Match.
