As per directions of Ms. Kanwardeep Kaur, IPS, W/SSP/UT, Chandigarh, under the close guidance of Sh. Mridul, W/SP/City Chandigarh and under the supervision of Sh. Dalbir Singh, DSP/South a team of officials of Police Station, Sector-31, Chandigarh headed by ASI Sewa Singh along with police party achieved a major achievement by arresting a person namelyTushar Singh @ Pinku S/o Rajesh R/o H. No 495, Phase-I, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh age 20 yrs has been arrested in case FIR No 104 dated 05.06.2024 U/s 25-54-59 Arms Act, PS-31, Chandigarh.
On the intervening night of 04/05.06.2024, a team of Police Station, Sector-31, Chandigarh led by ASI SewaSingh was on patrolling/naka duty in the area of Phase-I, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh with regard to prevention and detection of crime.
On the secret information that the person is roaming in the area of Phase-I, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh and he might have any deadly weapons with him. On this information police party immediately raid conducted and apprehended one person namely Tushar Singh @ Pinku S/o Rajesh R/o H. No 495, Phase-I, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh age 20 yrs. with Kamanidar knife.
The accused person produced before the Hon’ble Court and sent to judicial custody. Further investigation is going on. He is a drug addict having previous criminal record.
