In another breakthrough a team of Police Station Sector-31, Chandigarh has got a major success by arresting the accused Vinay S/o Chander Pal R/o # 1029 Phase-I, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh age 22 yrs, Amit @ Nanu S/o Subhash R/o # 1026 Phase-I Ramdarbar, Chandigarh age 21 yrs and Vineet @ Vinny S/o Vinod Kumar R/o # 676 Phase-I Ramdarbar, Chandigarh age 25 yrs. As a result of which recently registered snatching case FIR No. 103dt 03.06.2023 U/s 379A, 34 IPC added 411 IPC of Police Station Sector-31, Chandigarh has been worked out.
As per directions of Ms. Kanwardeep Kaur, IPS, W/SSP/UT, Chandigarh, under the close guidance of Sh. Mridul, W/SP/City Chandigarh and under the supervision of Sh. DalbirSingh, DSP/South a team of officials of Police Station Sector-31, Chandigarh was constituted to solve the snatching case.
Present case was registered on the complaint of Sh. Jagdish Singh S/o Krishan Lal R/o 454, Village- Burail, Chandigarh in which he stated that he doing a job as courier delivery boy. Today i.e. on 03.06.2024 at about 14:00 hrs when he was deliver a parcel at H. No 1492, Deep Complex, Hallomajra, Chandigarh, in the meantime three unknown boys came an motorcycle and stopped him one boy hold his hand and other boy took his Rs 4000/- from his pocket and third one extracted his purse containing Pan Card, RC of bearing No CH01BZ 5280 from his pent pocket and ran away from the spot. He noted down their motorcycle bearing registration number i.e. CH01BZ 9350, colour Blue Grey, make Splendor.
On receipt of a secret information, a special team was constituted by SHO-31 and on a secret information the team headed by ASI Jaswinder Singh arrested accused Vinay S/o Chander Pal R/o # 1029 Phase-I, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh age 22 yrs, Amit @ Nanu S/o Subhash R/o # 1026 Phase-I Ramdarbar, Chandigarh age 21 yrs and Vineet @ Vinny S/o Vinod Kumar R/o # 676 Phase-I Ramdarbar, Chandigarh age 25 yrsand snatched cash, documents of complainant and motorcycle used in crime have been recovered from their possession.
Both the accused, having produced in court and sent to Judicial Custody. Further investigation is going on.
