LOKADALAT WILL BE HELD TO DISPOSED PENDING TRAFFIC CHALLAN FROM JUNE 5 TO JUNE 15

It has been observed from the e-Challan database that large numbers of traffic challans are pending against vehicles . Today , after a meeting held in District Courts under the chair of District and Session Judge, UT. Chandigarh, it has been decided to give an opportunity to the violators.

Lok Adalats will be held for the disposal of pending Traffic Challans on every working day w.e.f. 5.06.2024 to 15.6.2024. Hence, it's an opportunity for the citizens to avail this initiative and pay fine for their pending challans issued before 31st August 2023. Citizens willing to avail the benefit of this facility need to visit District Court, Sector-43, Chandigarh and put their challans for disposal before the Hon'ble Court.

It is for the information of vehicle owners/ habitual violators having large number of pending challans to avail this initiative at the earliest, as Chandigarh Traffic Police will initiate the process of cancellation of Registration certificate of all such offending vehicles and the seizure of offending vehicle subsequently.
