In a major breakthrough, Chandigarh Police got a major success while acting against drug suppliers. A team of Crime Branch on the direction of Sh. Ketan Bansal, IPS, SP/Crime and close guidance of DSP Crime Sh. Udaypal Singh and under the supervision of Inspector Ashok Kumar nabbed two drug peddlers namely Beerpal and Ram Rakshpaland recovered 513 grams Opiumfrom their possession.
On 28.05.2024, one team headed by SI Neeraj Kumar was on Crime Control and prevention patrolling duty in the area of Police Station Sector-49, Chandigarh, while the police party was near Sport Complex, Sector-50, UT, Chandigarh, on suspicion two persons were apprehended, who disclosed their name as Beerpal S/o Sh. Devpal R/o Village-Chandpura, Tehsil-Bisauli, Distt-Budaun, UP, age-27 years and Ram Rakshpal S/o Sh. Nanhe Lal R/o Village- Chandpura, Tehsil-Bisauli, Distt-Budaun, UP, age-37 years and 203 gram opium and 310 grams Opium recovered from their possession respectively.
In this regard a CaseFIR No 10 dated 28.05.2024 U/S 18 NDPS Act PS-ANTF, UT, Chandigarhregistered against them.
The accused identified as Beerpal S/o Sh. Devpal R/o Village-Chandpura, Tehsil-Bisauli, Distt-Budaun, UP, age-27 years. (Recovery:-203 grams Opium)
Ram Rakshpal S/o Sh. Nanhe Lal R/o Village- Chandpura, Tehsil-Bisauli,Distt-Budaun, UP, age-37 years (Recovery:-310 grams Opium)
During investigation it come to notice that both accused worked as painters and to earn easy money, they started purchase drug on low prises and further sell it on high price to drug addicts in the area of Chandigarh.
