Thousands of devotees gathered in the annual Pushpadolotsav organized under the tradition established by Bhagwan Swaminarayan at Sarangpur, the abode of senior saints of BAPS organization including the world revered Pramukhswami Ji Maharaj. These included people from abroad also.
While conducting the programme, Adarshjivan Swami highlighted the importance of the festival. Viveksagar Swami expressed his views on how to take inspiration from the lives of saints who have attained God.
Dr. Swami discussed the principle of unity and seeing the virtues in others. International Director Ishwarcharan Swami threw light in detail on assimilating the state of self-realization.
(SUBHEAD)BAPS chief Mahant Swami Maharaj was honored with garlands by senior saints. The sadhus sang popular bhajans before the blessings of Swami Shri. Mahant Swami Ji Maharaj, in his blessings, praised the divine games of Lord Swaminarayan in Sarangpur village and stressed the need to imbibe the color of Satsang in one's life.
Swamishri worshiped Shri Harikrishna Maharaj with sandalwood, flowers and Akshat. After sprinkling sanctified saffron scented water on the idol of Thakur ji, Swamishri sprinkled water on Viveksagar Swami, Ishwarcharan Swami, Dr. Swami, Tyagvallabh Swami, Bhaktipriya Swami, Brahmavihari Swami, Anandswarup Swami, Nikhilesh Swami and other saints.
After this, thousands of devotees lined up and moved towards the stage to get saffron water sprayed from the sprinklers. As per the decorum of the institution, color was not thrown on the women but they were given a bottle of color along with the Prasad. After Mahaprasad, devotees from different states and countries left for their respective places.
