Keeping in view of increasing of motor vehicle theft cases, on the direction of Ms. Kanwardeep Kaur, IPS, W/SSP/UT, Chandigarh, under the close guidance of Sh. Mridul, IPS, W/SP/City Chandigarh and under the supervision of Sh. Gurumukh Singh, DSP/Central, a team of PS-17 headed by Insp. Rajiv Kumar SHO/PS-17 has got major success by arresting accused Lovekush @ Bablu S/o Sh. Sita Ram R/o H. No. 316 B, EWS Colony, Dhanas, Chd age 43 years.
During investigation, similar cases have also been found registered against him. With the arrest of accused, the cases have been worked out vide e-FIR No. 230 dated 05.03.2024 U/s 379 IPC added 411 IPC of Police Station Sector-17, Chandigarh, FIR No. 30 dated 06.03.2024 u/s 471, 473, 411 IPC of Police Station Sector-17, Chandigarh, e-FIR No. 137 dated 12.02.2024 u/s 379 IPC PS-34 Chandigarh.
KNOW THE ACCUSED: Lovekush @ Bablu S/o Sita Ram, H. No. 316 B EWS Colony Dhanas, Chd. 43 years
Qualification 8th, Profession Laborer
Criminal History: .e-FIR No. 645 dated 31.05.2023 u/s 379 IPC added 411 IPC PS-34 Chandigarh, .FIR No. 76 dated 30.09.2023 u/s 411 IPC PS-03 Chandigarh.
Recovery: 2 activa PB05AQ2446 Activa , HP72A1324 Activa
On 06.03.2024, accused was arrested and during interrogation two stolen Activa recovered on his disclosure / identification and sent to judicial custody. Further, investigation of the cases is going on.
