In a breakthrough a team of Police Station Sector-31, Chandigarh on the direction of Ms. Kanwardeep Kaur, IPS, W/SSP/UT, Chandigarh, under the close guidance of Sh. Mridul, W/SP/City Chandigarh and under the supervision of Sh. Dalbir Singh, DSP/South has got a major success by arresting the accused Sahil S/o Sushil Kumar R/o H. No 920 Phase-I, Ramdarbar Chandigarh age 27 year and Sagar S/o Arjun R/O H. No 953 Phase-I, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh age 32 yrs as keeping in view of increasing snatching and theft of autos a naka was laid.
(MOREPIC1) During the naka the above noted accused persons were arrested in case FIR No 40 dated 03.03.2024 U/s 392, 34 IPC added 411 IPC, PS-31, Chandigarh and the case has been solved.
Present case was registered on the complaint of Sh. Janak Kumar S/o Shiv Naryan R/o H. No 216, Hallomajra, Chandigarh age 34 yrs in which he stated that on 29.01.2024 at about 23:10 hrs while he was going to his house own his auto bearing No CH01TB 4660, when he reached near Bus Stop, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh, he saw three boys stand at bus stop Ramdarbar. They are indicating to stop him. When he stop his auto there, two boys caught him other boy took cash Rs 4000/- along with Adhaar Card, PAN Card and his passport photo from his pant pocket and all accused ran away from the spot. He can identity when they are in front of his.
On receipt of secret information, a special team was constituted by SHO-31 and team conducted raid and accused namely accused Sahil S/o Sushil Kumar R/o H. No 920 Phase-I, Ramdarbar Chandigarh age 27 year and Sagar S/o Arjun R/o H. No 953 Phase-I, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh age 32 yrs were arrested and robbed cash, Aadhar card and other documents of complainant have been recovered from their possession and both are drugs addicts.
Both the accused produced before the Hon’ble Court and sent to judicial custody for 14 days. Further investigation is going on.
