YOUTH CONGRESS ORGANISES FOOT MARCH UNDER “JAI JAWAAN JAI KISAAN JAI NAUJWAN” CAMPAIGN

In an apparent aimnto mobilise the party workers ahead of the impending Lok Sabha polls, the Punjab Youth Congress have launched its door to door awareness drive under “Jai Jawan Jai Kissan” campaign to drum up support for the party.
While divulging details, Mohit Mohindra President Punjab Youth Congress said that the campaign will be initiated in all the 13th parliamentary constituencies of the state, adding that they will also try to cover all assembly constituency by interacting with the people at grassroot.
Addressing the massive gathering, Mohindra said that today youth Congress was the backbone of the congress party and will play a vital role in canvassing for the party candidates. “We will take the issue of farmers, Youths and Agniveers to every corner of the state”, said Mohindra.
DCC President Kulbir Singh Zira while addressing the issue of farmers said that this issue can only be resolved by positive political mindset. He said that the Congress party has already extended full support to the farmers and the party has committed that after formation of Government in 2024, Congress will ensure MSP on all the 22 crops.
(SUBHEAD)While lambasting on Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann, Kulbir said that soon he will be releasing a video grab in which CM Mann had promised to the farmers that he will give MSP on all the 22 crops but in vain. “Sadly after two years, Mann has still not fulfilled his promise which he had made to the farmers and now he is putting the onus on the union government”, said Kulbir.
On this occasion, Mukesh Rai Incharge PYC, Ashu Bangar, Harinder Singh Khosa, Rohit Grover, Sukhwinder Singh Attari, Parminder Singh Ladda, Yakoob Bhatti, Mehakdeep Singh Zira, Karan Brar, Gurmail Singh Burj, Ishpal singh Zira and other congress leaders were present.
After the march, Mohit Mohindra alongwith former Zira MLA and District Congress Committee (DCC) President Kulbir Singh and others paid tributes at the Hussainiwala border.
