PU INKS MoU WITH HBCH & RC FOR ACADEMICS AND RESEARCH

Panjab University, Chandigarh signed an MoU with Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (HBCH&RC), Punjab, to evolve academic and research interaction with each other.

The MoU signing ceremony took place on Feb 26, 2024 at Panjab University and was signed by Prof Y P Verma, Registrar, Panjab University and Prof Ashish Gulia, Director, HBCH&RC.

The objectives of the MoU is to strengthen the academic and research program by exchange of information, to impart state-of-art training for the benefit of students from available resource and facilities in both the institutes and jointly organising education programmes, social awareness and skill development workshops on topics of mutual interest.(SUBHEAD)

Dr Gulia emphasised with a comprehensive approach the importance of this collaboration extending from epidemiological approach to spreading awareness on key health issues and also in translation of health research and technology from bench to bedside. “The coming together of these two institutes of international repute will further strengthen the quality of research, education and opportunities for students” said the Vice Chancellor Prof Renu Vig.
