JAKHAR TAKES A DIG AT CONGRESS LEADERSHIP FOR ABANDONING SUKHPAL KHAIRA

Continuing his firm stand against deliberate targetting of Bholath Congress legislator Sukhpal Khaira, the Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar has said that Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra is as hollow as the senior leadership of moribund Punjab Congress party of today.
“Those who are talking of fighting for Nyay for the country are mute spectators and colluders with perpetrators of injustice against their own MLA,” Jakhar said here during his interaction with the media.
The State BJP President was in the city to be part of the special Lohri event at the invitation of senior leader and Central Minister Som Prakash. If they still possess some semblance of self-respect, they must first demand answers from Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann over an absurdly bogus and fabricated case to keep Khaira behind bars, Jakhar said.
Punjab Congress leadership is shamelessly hand-in-glove with AAP leadership to save themselves from police action and hide their misdeeds, Jakhar said adding that the only intent is to muzzle the voice of reason, courage and questioning of AAP by Sukhpal Khaira.
Responding to a query, senior BJP leader said that the way Punjab is being plundered, the question today is to save the state from going down this path of destruction unleashed by AAP.
“How will Punjab survive. There is no point in thinking of a particular party, if the state of Punjab is saved all parties will be saved. Without the state's future, what is the future of any party,” Jakhar asked.
Asserting that BJP speaks for the future of Punjab and the party will fulfil this duty given by people of Punjab on mission mode. The State's opposition has abjectly surrendered before AAP to save themselves, Jakhar said alleging a conspiracy between Punjab Congress leadership with Chief Minister to muzzle every voice which exposes their corruption and loot.
