A needy migrant salesman, who had bought a lottery ticket with the wish of going to Salasar to have darshan of Balaji Salasar Dham, saw his luck change when 10 of his tickets won prizes of Rs 10,000 each, in total, he received prize money of Rs 1 lakh. The winning tickets were purchased from Manokamna Lottery Centre here.
Centre- operator Raghav Nagpal said that Raj Kumar, who supports his family by doing labor work as a salesman, had tried his luck in the Rs 7 Nagaland State lottery with the desire to have Balaji’s darshan. He had bought 20 tickets at once for Rs 140. Out of these 20 tickets, 10 tickets won prizes of Rs 10,000 each. In this way, Raj Kumar received a total prize amount of Rs 1 lakh.
As soon as he learned that he had won, the joy on the winner’s face was clearly visible. He said that he would use this amount to meet his family’s needs as well as to visit Bala ji’s Salasar Dham.
At Manokamna Lottery Centre, several customers have already won prizes worth lakhs of rupees this month, Nagpal said.
