Combined Annual Training Camp cum Pre Thal Sainik Camp is being held at Rajasthan Technical University, Kota for 508 NCC Cadets under the aegis of 14 Raj Bn NCC Kota.
The aim of the camp is to introduce cadets to a regimented way of life towards developing camaraderie, team work, leadership qualities, self-confidence, self-reliance and dignity of labour in NCC cadets.
The cadets are exposed to the nuances of camp life where they apply the theoretical knowledge that they had gained in Institutional Training. During the ten days camp the cadets undergo various training activities to include Drill, Weapon training, firing, Map reading, Fire Craft Battle Craft, Tent pitching, Social Service, Firefighting etc.
(SUBHEAD)During the camp the cadets will participate in Yoga to commemorate the International Yoga Day on 21 Jun 2025 and to instill the habit of Yoga into their daily life. Keeping in mind the ‘Op Sindoor’ the cadets will also be imparted training on Civil Defence.
Aim during the camp is to expose young cadets to a `Regimental Way of Life’ which is essential to inculcate in them the values of discipline, duty, punctuality, orderliness, smartness, respect for the authorities, correct work ethos and self- confidence. The camp training also aims to inculcate Defence Services work ethos that is characterised by hard work, sincerity of purpose, honesty, ideal of selfless service, dignity of labour, secular outlook, comradeship, spirit of adventure and sportsmanship.
