Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, near Chandigarh, celebrated International Yoga Day on June 21 with a yoga workshop. The event aligned with the 2025 theme, “Yoga for One Earth, One Health,” emphasizing the interconnectedness of personal and planetary well-being.

As per the statement from the student Coordinators, Aryans Sports Club it was mentioned that yoga is an ancient Indian practice that originated 5,000 years ago. It harmonizes the mind, body, and soul, promoting overall health and well-being while combating stress, depression, and anxiety.

The United Nations declared June 21 as International Day of Yoga in 2014, following a call by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

During the workshop, students learned various yoga asanas, including Padmasana, Halasana, Sukhasana, Naukasana, Vrikshasana, Tadasana, and Bhujangasana.
