GAMC GETS NATIONAL RECOGNITION FOR SUSTAINABILITY INITIATIVES

The Gopichand Arya Mahila College, Abohar has been honored with the District Green Championship Award, the Zero-Waste Campus Award, and the Water Guardians Award by the National EduTrust of India.

These accolades are a testament to the college’s consistent efforts to create an eco-friendly campus through innovative sustainability practices, effective waste management, and water conservation initiatives. The institution has emerged as a leading example of green education in the district.

In recognition of her visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to sustainable development in education, Dr Rekha Sood Handa, Principal of the college, has been conferred with the Best Principal Award.

The principal expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Samarth Sharma, Chief Executive Officer of the National EduTrust of India, for recognizing the college’s efforts and honouring them with these prestigious awards.
