DY CM DIVYA KUMARI CELEBRATES RAKSHA BANDHAN WITH SAPTA SHAKTI COMMAND

With an air of respect, nationalism, gratitude and festivity, Raksha Bandhan was celebrated in Jaipur Military Station. Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Diya Kumari, accompanied by distinguished ladies tied the sacred Rakhis to the combatant brothers celebrating the strong bond between the sisters and their protectors in uniform. 

(MOREPIC1)  In a moving gesture steeped in tradition and patriotism, Diya Kumari tied sacred Rakhis to Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command, as well as to soldiers of the Command. The ceremony symbolised the timeless thread of protection, respect and gratitude, a pledge that binds the hearts of the Nation to the courage and commitment of its soldiers.

The Dy CM expressed her deep admiration for the Indian Army’s selfless service, indomitable spirit and unwavering dedication to safeguard the motherland. She also emphasised the bravery of the Indian Armed Forces in Op Sindoor, wherein they gave befitting reply to the enemy in safeguarding the security of the Nation. 

The Army Commander conveyed his gratitude on behalf of all ranks of Sapta Shakti Command to the Deputy CM & the sisters and reiterated that it’s a matter of rare privilege and honour that sisters of Rajasthan have come to celebrate the festivities of Raksha Bandhan with the soldiers. He said the gesture of 1,50,000 Rakhis sent to soldiers deployed in far flung areas away from their home, motivates them to perform their duty
