Bhai Gobind Singh, the young son of Bhai Paramjit Singh and nephew of Sant Baba Pritpal Singh of Chandigarh's Jheel wale, passed away on August 2nd. His farewell prayer ceremony was held on August 20, 2025, at Gurdwara Gursagar Sahib, near the Chandigarh lake.
During the ceremony, Sant Baba Pritpal Singh and Bhai Tejeswar Pratap Singh paid tribute to the departed soul through Shabda Kirtan (devotional singing). Bhai Gobind Singh dedicated his life to community service and was always there for people in times of joy and sorrow.
His family, including his mother Kamaljit Kaur, father Bhai Paramjit Singh, and grand mothers, tearfully bid him farewell. The ceremony was also attended by Mata Charankamal Kaur, the Chairperson of Kartar Aasra Trust, along with his uncles Bhai Ranjit Singh and Bhai Saranjit Singh, and aunt Gurcharan Kaur.
On this occasion people from both India and abroad amd several prominent figures like Sant Baba Sarup Singh (Santsar Sahib), Baba Jagroop Singh (Barnale Wale). Singh Sahib Giani Jasvir Singh (Sri Chamkaur Sahib), Sardar Kulwant Singh (MLA Mohali), Sardar Sarabjit Singh (MLA Pathanmajra) and his son Harjashan Singh, DSP Bal Ji, Raja Singh (President, Jat Mahasabha Punjab), Satya Pal Jain (Chandigarh), MC Kamaljit Singh (BJP Leader, Delhi), Sardar Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad (Federation Patron and Akali Dal Spokesman), Jathedar Balbir Singh Baironpur, Youth Wing of Aam Aadmi Party (Sanaur), President Kuldeep Singh, Jasvir Singh, Joginder Singh, Jathedar Balkar Singh (Mohali). paid their respects to the departed soul.
